GLNW 2025 Scholarship

The GLNW Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 scholarship. While performing our annual audit it was discovered that there was enough money in the scholarship fund that allowed the Grand Lodge to award a third scholarship instead of the normal two.

Natalie Barrett is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in biology, society, and environment and a minor in Public Health. After graduation, she went to work for the University of Minnesota as a researcher evaluating new training methods for Nursing home and Assisted Living Facility staff about providing LGBTQ+ sensitive care. Natalie will be earning her master’s in public health at Lund University in Sweden.

Sierra Asay is attending Central Washinton University with a degree in Wine Studies with the plan to start her own winery and become an industry leader. She aspires to have industry leaders come together to work on improving methods that will ensure a sustainable and improved wine industry.

Joey Beyersdorf is graduating from Auburn High School. He has played basketball, soccer, golf and now baseball for Auburn High Schol. He would like to pursue a career in broadcasting with a degree from the Edward R. Murrow Collage of Communication at WSU with the goal of becoming a sports broadcaster for ESPN.
